Not to Miss Restaurants in Nashville and more

Last year, Clint and I had the opportunity to visit Nashville twice while photographing the sweetest clients! It was my first time to explore the city and I loved it! It reminded me a lot of Austin and Texas and I could have spent much more time exploring! During our two short times there, we tried out some fun eateries that I totally recommend:

  1. The Pharmacy – This is probably the BEST BURGER I have ever eaten! Clint and I don’t usually go for burgers, but we sat out on the patio and gave this place a shot and we were so impressed. They use 100% Tennessee beef and you can taste the difference. The selection of unique burgers was fun to pick from and I wish we hadn’t been heading to the airport afterwards, otherwise we would have hit it up twice!
  2. Pinewood Social – This social hall has the best vibe and I wished I lived in Nashville just so I could work there all day! From perfect coffee, unique cocktails and a menu that changes throughout the day, you have to spend a little time chilling here. Oh, and there’s a bowling alley inside as if the cool Airstream bar outside isn’t cool enough. Don’t miss this place!
  3. Merchants – We walked past this place a few times and I am a sucker for cool interiors, so we decided to have lunch here and it was amazing! It was originally a pharmacy built in 1870 and still had the original black and white tile floors and marble countertops. Not only is their food amazing, but they had a great variety of unique cocktails.
  4. Barista Parlor – Not a restaurant, but I love to take a break from my Starbucks and try out the local coffee places. This sweet spot seemed like a Nashville secret hidden around a corner in an old transmission shop with all the garage doors open. Worth the stop for a pretty latte and some Instagram photos.

This outfit is one of my go-to for traveling! If you are on and off airplanes like I am, then jogger pants and layers is a must. And, of course, my Dooney & Bourke purse which usually doubles as my camera bag while out exploring.
